Welcome to IMAKE (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for purchasing from our online store at imakestitch.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

IMAKE is operated by BLUE STAR TRADING LIMITED

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 or have parental/guardian permission to purchase from our store. By ordering, you confirm you are purchasing as a consumer unless you provide us your business details (see Section 16 for business customers).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

Your order is an offer to buy. We will email an order acknowledgment; acceptance occurs when we email a dispatch/fulfilment confirmation, at which point a contract is formed.

We may decline or cancel orders, for example due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If payment has been taken, we will refund it.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Payment

  • Prices are shown in USD. If VAT applies, prices are exclusive of VAT—see checkout for details.
  • Shipping, duties and taxes (if any) are shown at checkout.
  • We accept:  PayPal
  • By submitting a payment method, you confirm you are authorised to use it and that the information is accurate.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Processing time: typically 2 BUSINESS DAYS.
  • Estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout; they are estimates only.
  • We ship to: worldwide. Any import duties or customs fees are your responsibility.
  • Please check your address carefully; we are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect details provided.

7. Risk & Title

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Title to the goods passes only when we receive full payment (including shipping and applicable taxes).

8. Returns, Refunds & Your Right to Cancel (UK)

Summary: If you are a consumer in the UK, you generally have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). This section explains how that works alongside our store policy.

8.2 Your 14-Day Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)

You have 14 days after the day the goods are delivered to cancel, then a further 14 days to send items back. To exercise this right, please email imakeembrodery@gmail.com stating you wish to cancel. You may (but do not have to) use the model cancellation form below.

  • You must take reasonable care of the goods and return them without undue delay.
  • You are responsible for return postage for change-of-mind cancellations (unless we offer free returns). We will refund the price paid and the standard outbound delivery cost; supplemental delivery costs (e.g., express) are not refunded.
  • Exceptions: No cancellation right for personalised/custom goods; sealed goods not suitable for return due to health or hygiene if unsealed; goods which become mixed inseparably with other items after delivery; digital content once download/access begins if you consented to immediate supply and acknowledged loss of the right to cancel.

8.3 Faulty or Misdescribed Items

If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us at  imakeembrodery@gmail.com

9. Digital Products & Downloads

  • For digital content, download or streaming may begin immediately after purchase.
  • If you consent to immediate supply, you acknowledge you lose the statutory cancellation right once access begins.
  • We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence for your own use. Sharing, reselling or distributing files is not permitted.

10. Subscriptions

  • Billing cycles: You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time in your account before the next billing date to avoid future charges. Partial periods are not refunded unless required by law.
  • We may adjust subscription prices with prior notice; you can cancel if you do not agree.

11. Promotions, Gift Cards & Store Credit

  • Promo codes are single-use unless stated, non-transferable, and cannot be combined unless permitted.
  • Gift cards are valid for 2 years from purchase, non-refundable (except as required by law). Treat them like cash.

12. User Content & Reviews

By posting reviews, photos or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with our store and marketing. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, infringing or misleading content.

13. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the site or interfere with its operation (e.g., introducing malware, scraping without permission, attempting unauthorised access). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

14. Intellectual Property

All site content (text, graphics, logos, images, product designs) is owned by or licensed to us and protected by IP laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

15. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers). Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. If you use Buy Now Pay Later (e.g., Klarna/Clearpay), you are entering into a separate agreement with that provider.

16. Our Responsibility to You

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter for which liability cannot be limited or excluded by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you are a consumer: we are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach or by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable or for business losses.

If you are a business customer: to the fullest extent permitted by law, (a) we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations; and (b) we will not be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and (c) our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant order.

17. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, lock-outs, accidents, transport or supply disruption, natural disasters, epidemics, or acts of authorities).

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The version posted on our site at the time you place your order applies to that order. Material changes will be highlighted with a new effective date.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction 

 These Terms of Service and anyseparate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governedby and construed in accordance with the laws of HK

20. Complaints & Alternative Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at imakeembrodery@gmail.com. If your order was placed online and you are in the UK/EU, you may also be able to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to resolve disputes out of court: search “EU ODR platform”. We are not obliged to use ADR, but we will consider any reasonable proposal.
